Children

Fully age-graded departments are provided for children, grades 1-5. Children are taught by loving, caring, well-trained teachers in attractive, well equipped rooms. Our text book is the Bible. Bible learning activities and projects are planned to guide children in meaningful learning experiences, applying Bible Stories and Biblical concepts to everyday lives. There is a strong emphasis on scripture memory, daily Bible reading, and prayer.

Kid's Crossing - Every Thursday

Huntsville's hottest after school scene for 3rd through 5th graders happens every Thursday from 2:30 to 5pm. Come join us for free food, exciting games and messages that will help a young person grow with God.

DivorceCare for Kids

From 6-8 pm on Wednesday Nights, (13 week program that runs simultaneously with adult Divorce Recovery.).
What's it all about...
Some children struggle deeply with separation and divorce, while others seem to bounce back quickly. But in the long run, all children are affected. The DivorceCare for Kids program will help minimize and eliminate the short- and long-term negative effects of divorce on a child’s schoolwork, relationships, emotional health and spiritual life.

DivorceCare for Kids provides the opportunity for children of divorce to experience hope, help and restoration in their lives today and in the future.

Children's Bible Drill

All 4th, 5th, and 6th graders are invited to participate. Children learn the Books of the Bible, 25 verses and 10 key passages. This program runs January - April. Children who take part in this activity participate in church, associational and state drills.

AWANA Clubs

Awana meets during the school year on Sunday nights from 5:50 – 7:30 p.m. This is the place for kids! This club is for boys and girls ages 3 through 6th grade.

This hour and a half of vigorous games, awards, Bible lessons and scripture memory is a blast for kids. There are also the Awana games, pinewood racer contests and Bible quizzes. It’s fun and exciting for children of all ages and we do mean all ages – Moms and Dads.

Awana’s Goal is to reach boys and girls with the Gospel of Christ and train them to serve him.

Children's Mission Organizations

Children's mission organizations teach children about home and foreign missionaries and what they do. The children learn to pray and participate in missions projects.

Preschool & Children's Choirs

Children's choirs are designed to train children, age 3 - grade 5, in Biblical truths primarily using the medium of music. Each child is placed in a graded choir which offers trained teachers, large and small group time, hands-on experience with musical instruments, and opportunities to perform in church services. There is also a Hand Chime Ensemble for grades 1 - 2, and a Hand Bell Ensemble for grades 3 - 5. Hand Chimes and Hand Bells meet on Sundays at 4:00 and Children's Choirs begin at 4:45.
